Vitiligo

Vitiligo is a common skin condition by which about 60 million of people suffering and as by Anti-vitiligo oil statistics say only in USA about 1 million to 2 million people suffering from vitiligo skin conditon.Vitiligo is a pigmentation disorder in the human skin. The human skin contains special skin cells the melanocytes that produce the pigment melanin which colors the skin.
In Vitiligo, the special skin cells melanocytes as well as the tissues mucous membranes that line the inside of the mouth, nose, genital and rectal areas, and the retina of the eyes are destroyed. As a result, white patches of skin appear on different parts of the body. The hair may also turn white that grows in areas affected by vitiligo.

Cause of Vitiligo

The vitiligo is the result of the disfunctioning or disappearance of melanocytes in the skin. There is no Known acceptable permanent cause of vitiligo although some cause are discussed hereunder as:

1. An wrong working of certain nerve cells produce a toxic substance damage color producing melanocytes.

2. A change in the immune system that lead to the destruction of melanocytes.

3. Self destruction of Melanocytes duet the production of some toxic materials.

4. Some genetic defects may also charge for the destruction of the pigmentation forming cells melanocytes.

Vitiligo treatment

There is not treatment for vitiligo for which one can say with 100% assurity that it would be very effective completely halt the skin condition vitiligo. There are dozen of different medecal procidure currently being used for the treatment of vitiligo.
It has also been observed that the process of healing is faster in people with a darker complexion than fairer individuals.
